Volunteering is spending your time doing something to benefit others.
Why volunteer at the Carnival?
By giving of your time, you are helping us to help others. Essentially, your time and efforts have a direct impact on the community you live in! By volunteering at our event, you are helping the Sweet Valley Vol. Fire Company raise much needed funds that ensure the continued emergency services operations. Our primary mission is always to protect life and property. To do that, we must diligently work to ensure we remain financially sound, the Memorial Day Carnival is our biggest fundraiser each year that helps us do just that.
It takes a lot of people to make this event happen. So we rely on you, our community members, to help us make this a success every year. We look forward to your help and support!
What would I be doing?
We need people to help in almost every area of the event. This includes help in the food stands, parking, and various other areas that may need a helping hand. We will work with you to make sure you know where you will be going and who to report to get you started and who to ask if you have any questions.
How do I sign up?
Please consider donating your time to help us. You can sign up by following the link and completing the “Volunteer Signup Form.” You can sign up for as little or as much time as you have to give. We appreciate everything you do to help us!
Once you submit the form, someone will contact you to confirm your interest. As we get closer to the event, we will let you know again more specific information about where you will be going that day.
